About Maui Hostels

Maui Hostels is a family-run hostel group on Mexico's Riviera Maya, with properties in Tulum (La Veleta) and Playa del Carmen (Centro). Born in 2017 to give independent travelers a real home base — safe, social, and affordable — Maui has grown into a small international community that hosts thousands of backpackers, solo travelers, digital nomads, and volunteers every year. We believe budget travel should feel like belonging, not surviving.
